Acorn use hard sale pressure tactics! We had a visit from them and after over 2 hours had to show them the door. Stannah on the other hand are brilliant! No pressure and arrived on time. I asked the sales lady if she wanted to stay for dinner with us. We might have paid a little bit more for our Stannah but it’s piece of mind knowing we’re with the number 1 choice for customer service and quality! The last time the service engineer came he even changed a few light bulbs for me.

We got my mom an Acorn and she loves it! Our experience with them was great and they were very informative and helpful.

I have an Acorn ordered and they cashed 1,000 deposit on th 8th, did measurements on the 10th and on the 18th they had not sent the permit request to the state inspectors and lied about it! Told the state inspector they had to take measurements. BS. I called and cancelled after I read all the complaints about their product and other customer complaints. mrpfct is right on the money. Think I’ll check out Stannah. We might never see our $1,000 again. Beware of this company.

Before calling Acorn, research the Acorn Stairlifts complaints. Do your homework.
